1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms may be updated; the version in force is the one published at the time of your visit, dated above.

2. Scope

This document covers use of the public-facing website at nsai.fi and its subpages. It does not cover:

• Clinical deployment of NSAS detection software — governed by your hospital or OEM contract.
• The mobile application — governed by the in-app End-User License Agreement.
• Research collaborations — governed by your data use or research agreement.

3. Permitted use

You may read, link to, share, and quote this site for non-commercial informational purposes. Press use is governed additionally by the press page.

You may not:

• Reproduce substantial portions of this site for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
• Use this site or its content to train machine-learning models without prior written permission.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of this site without going through our coordinated disclosure process (see security).
• Use automated systems to extract data at a rate that disrupts site availability for other users.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, graphics, logos, design system, code — is owned by Neuro Scan AI Solutions Oy or its licensors, and is protected under Finnish and EU copyright law. The Neuro Scan name and logo are protected trademarks; use in journalism is permitted under the guidelines on the press page.

5. Medical disclaimer

Content on this website describes a clinical-grade software product but does not itself constitute medical advice. Nothing here should be used to diagnose, treat, or manage epilepsy or any other condition. The product is intended to support clinicians; it does not replace clinical judgment. Always consult a qualified neurologist.

If you or someone in your care is experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, in relation to the public website itself.

Warranties applicable to the deployed clinical software are governed by your contract, not this document.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Neuro Scan AI Solutions Oy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from website use is limited to €100.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded under Finnish or EU law (for example, gross negligence or willful misconduct).

8. Third-party links

We link to external resources (publishers, datasets, regulatory bodies) for the convenience of readers. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the content of sites we link to.

9. Changes to the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website at any time without notice. We will preserve URLs of legal pages (this one, privacy, GDPR, security) where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Helsinki (Helsingin käräjäoikeus), unless a mandatory consumer-protection provision requires otherwise.
