Neuro Scan AI Solutions
— CAREERS

Work on something that matters.

We are a small team building clinical AI in a regulated, high-stakes domain. The work is technically demanding and ethically serious. If that combination sounds right to you, the open roles are below.

How we work

NSAS is headquartered in Espoo, Finland, with remote collaborators in Amsterdam and New York. Most engineering and clinical roles are remote-friendly within EU time zones; clinical roles will require on-site presence in Helsinki and at partner sites once the first pilots open.

We work in small, single-threaded teams. Engineers ship to a product that is technically complete but not yet clinically deployed — the mobile app and reference hardware are built, the algorithm is dataset-validated, and we are inside the ethics-committee review process at four hospitals. We do not hire to grow headcount; we hire when a specific shoe is missing.

Open roles

Senior ML Engineer — Time-series & EEG

You will own the seizure detection model end-to-end: training, evaluation on held-out cohorts, drift monitoring, and the inference pipeline that runs in clinical environments. You have published or shipped ML in a regulated domain (medical, finance, automotive) and can defend a model choice to a neurologist.

Clinical Affairs Lead

You will open our first clinical pilots: shepherd the in-flight ethics-committee submissions at four sites (two Turkey, one Finland, one United States) through approval, then run the deployments that follow. Day-to-day this means building working relationships with EMUs and neurocritical care units, and coordinating the regulatory roadmap (CE-MDR in the EU, with an eye toward FDA). You have prior experience in medical device clinical affairs or a clinical research background; nursing or EEG technologist background is a plus.

Mobile Engineer — React Native (Expo)

The patient and clinician mobile applications run on Expo + React Native. You will own that codebase: clinician dashboards, patient self-report flows, push-notification reliability for clinical alerts, and HealthKit / Health Connect integrations. Comfortable shipping native modules when the framework runs out.

Quality & Regulatory Engineer

You will own our ISO 13485 quality management system, technical documentation for CE-MDR submission, post-market surveillance procedures, and the audit trail behind every model release. Prior medical device QA/RA experience required.

What you can expect

  • Competitive base salary, structured equity, and a clinical-domain bonus tied to pilot milestones rather than vague KPIs.
  • Finnish public-holiday calendar with extra winter break between Christmas and the new year.
  • An annual learning budget you actually use — conferences, courses, books, dataset access.
  • A flat team where the founder reviews PRs and the clinical lead sits in on engineering planning.

If you are convinced you can move our mission forward in a way we have not yet thought of, send a short note explaining what and how. We open new roles based on conviction, not job-board churn. clinical@nsai.fi
